Montana Grizzly Athletics has provided each of us with a scrapbook full of unforgettable memories, but the mark that our student-athletes leave on Montana's proud tradition does not end with their athletic achievement. The University of Montana and the Grizzly community are equally proud of the many former student-athletes who have benefited from the quality education they have received. Countless student-athletes now enjoy successful careers in the public and private sectors.

The opportunity for these young adults to achieve their academic and athletic goals begins with generous financial support from Grizzly Scholarship members like you.

Each year, Montana Grizzly Scholarship Association donors give The University of Montana the financial strength to educate deserving student-athletes and to build programs that we can all take pride in. We face the enormous challenge of rewarding dedicated student-athletes with scholarship assistance. This budget item will approach $3 million dollars in 2008. With that in mind, the MGSA is designed to provide an avenue for loyal supporters like you to help Montana Athletics effectively address this critical fiscal need.

We are just finishing another highly successful year of Grizzly Athletics at The University of Montana both competitively and academically.

The University of Montana has a heritage of athletic excellence that is unsurpassed at this size of institution and level of competition. It is a tribute to our extraordinary student-athletes, excellent coaches and generous MGSA members that such athletic success can be accomplished.

Scholarships and student service expenditures comprise one of the greatest investments in Grizzly Athletics. Over one million dollars from private sources must be generated each year to offset the costs of providing scholarships to over 310 student-athletes.

The MGSA presents a unique way for you to invest in The University of Montana: create equal opportunity by donating and then participate in the investment by cheering for your student-athletes and teams as they compete throughout the year.

With your generous contributions and support, student-athletes are given the chance to achieve greatness on the field and in the classroom.
