In eight October matches, Houle averaged a team-leading 4.42 kills per game and was second on the team in digs at 4.23 digs per game. She recorded at least 20 kills in a match on three separate occasions in October, including 26 at Portland State and 23 at home against Idaho State.

Houle averaged 4.78 kills per game in a home weekend sweep of Idaho State and Weber State on Oct. 22-23, Montana's first weekend sweep of a league opponent since the 2000 season, and had 16 kills and a season-high 26 digs at Northern Arizona on Oct. 30, the Grizzlies' first league road victory since 2000.
