| About South Campus Stadium |
The 2007 season is the 13th in which The University of Montana soccer team has played at South Campus Soccer Stadium. Located at the corner of South and Higgins avenues, South Campus Stadium was constructed partly from volunteer funds and services donated by the Missoula soccer community. Irrigation, water and power lines, a beautiful grass field, a chain link fence surrounding the property, a scoreboard, and permanent seating for 1,000 spectators make the stadium one of the top soccer facilities in the Northwest.
The Grizzlies have a 12-year record of 68-25-2 (.726) at home and hope to continue that trend of success.
Montana set attendance records at the stadium for both the season average (541) and single game (estimated 1,100 vs. Brigham Young) during the 1999 campaign. Attendance figures were strong again in 2000 and 2001 as the Grizzlies have continued to average over 450 fans. In all, nine of the top 15 all-time largest crowds have come in the past four years, while two of the top three crowds came in 1999.
