Jen Canuso Anderson is in her second season as head women's tennis coach at The University of Montana. Anderson, who was a standout student-athlete at UM from 1996-99, joined the coaching staff at her alma mater in 2005 where she served as assistant coach for both men's and women's programs.

As a collegiate player, Anderson was an All-Big Sky performer for the Grizzlies in her sophomore, junior and senior seasons. She is one of two Montana women's tennis players to earn all-conference honors in three consecutive seasons.
In her senior campaign she earned first team All-Big Sky Conference honors. Anderson served as team captain and was also a member of the Student Athlete Advisory Board in her final year with the Griz. She earned second team All-Big Sky honors in her sophomore and junior seasons.
Anderson graduated from UM with a bachelor's of arts degree in business administration in 2000. She continued her post-graduate studies at UM and received a master's degree in business administration in 2005.
Prior to her arrival at UM, Anderson had a celebrated prep tennis career at New Jersey's Moorsetown High School. She garnered numerous all-conference and all-state accolades, and as a senior was named New Jersey High School Player of the Year.
Prior to coaching, Anderson spent three years working with UM athletics in both administrative help and with the Montana Grizzly Scholarship Association. |
