Nomination Criteria
Athletes become eligible after being away from The University for a minimum of five years. Must have competed for at least two years at The University. Desirable qualifications shall include graduation, All-America status, NCAA and/or Olympic participation, records held at least at the conference level, All-Conference first team recognition, scholar-athlete achievement, and/or continuing contribution to The University.
Coaches become eligible five years after their connection with The University begins. Also eligible are coaches who graduated from, or completed their last two years of playing eligibility for, The University, and who have completed at least five years of coaching. Considered will be records, national/conference championships, contributions to sport, and achievement in public life.

Current Hall-of-Fame Members at The University will be automatically nominated for, but not automatically inducted into, the Grizzly Sports Hall of Fame. Nomination materials on any of these individuals are encouraged.		   U.M. Graduates with at least the last two years as an undergraduate at The University become eligible five years after their service at or for The University begins. Staff and others who are not graduates of The University must serve at least 15 years at The University to be eligible for consideration.

Teams may be considered at the discretion of the Grizzly Sports Hall of Fame Committee.
